In one sentence: the game MODERN SOCIETY collects no personal data. It has no account, no advertising, no analytics, no in-app purchases, and it never connects to a server.
What the app does
MODERN SOCIETY is a single-player, offline game. Everything that happens in the game happens on your device. The app requests no special permission (no location, contacts, camera, microphone or notifications).
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data — no identifier, no e-mail address, no usage data.
- It contains no analytics tool, no tracker, no advertising SDK.
- It offers no in-app purchase and no subscription: the game is bought once on your device's store.
- It shows no advertising.
- It creates no account and requires no sign-in.
- It makes no network request: the game's code contains no call to the outside world.
Your save game
Your game is saved locally, on the device, in the app's private storage (and in its twin copy, the app's documents folder). Depending on your device settings, that folder may be included in the system backup (iCloud on iOS, Google backup on Android): that mechanism belongs to your system and your account, not to the game, and Modern Society Games has no access to it. Uninstalling the app deletes the local save.
The stores
The purchase goes through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Those stores process the payment and may ask you for information under their own privacy policies, which we neither operate nor see. Any aggregated statistics the stores provide to developers (download counts, countries, device types) are anonymous.
This website
modernsociety.games is a fully static website. It sets no cookie, embeds no tracker and collects no data. Like any host, Cloudflare (which serves it) processes the technical data needed to deliver the pages (IP address, request log); no visitor analytics are enabled. The only external resource is a fallback typeface loaded from Google Fonts; the main typeface is your device's own.
Children
Since the game collects no data, it collects none from children either. It contains political satire and fictional gambling (casino, stock exchange) with no real stakes.

Changes
Should the game ever change its behaviour (for instance an optional online save), this page would be updated before that version is released, with the date of the change.
